Board Member & Committee Responsibilities

Officers Term of Office: Per the Bylaws, all terms are for one (1) year, beginning July 1. Any officer may be re-elected to office for no more than one (1) additional successive term.

Executive Committee: Per the Bylaws, the Executive Committee is composed of the President, President-Elect, Immediate Past President, Vice President of Finance and Vice President of Education.

In order to streamline communication and conduct efficient and effective Board meetings, the Officers are responsible for obtaining reports from each Committee that reports to them no later than the Friday before the regularly scheduled Board meeting on Thursday. The reports will then be distributed on Monday along with the Minutes from the prior month's Board meeting and the agenda. This should allow the Officers and Directors time to review each of the reports ahead of time, eliminating unnecessary review during the meeting itself, allowing the Board to focus on more important issues.
